Business Development & Digital Content Strategist

I'm a Freelance Business Strategist - who lived in Cape Town for many years and now commute between the City I love and the Southern Cape, where I am happily based and work mostly remote with a handful of clients.

On the Digital Side: I implement bespoke growth strategies for brands and specialise on the X platform for content marketing.

In the South African business landscapeAfter co-founding an award-winning national development non-profit in Cape Town, South Africa as Executive, I changed my work pace in rural Southern Cape to (mostly) remote business growth consultation with a handful of clients that I enjoy.

I was once told I am not (like) many. It stuck and became a brand. Also: #iAmnotDoneYet

In Summary - What I Do ...

Let me tell you what I love and do best - To support entrepreneurial leaders and grow online communities and meaningful networks. I selected the TWITTER (now X) social media platform and over 20 years developed the strategies that work best there. I am insourced by companies, brands, event managers and other freelancers to create and publish relevant marketing content using my networks & skills. We could create a buzz about your brand and service together. Oh, and I LOVE being part of a beta-testing team to give feedback to developers. Connect via Skype for a quick chat.

More recently, I have started to work as regional marketing representative for national brands in the Southern Cape where I am now located most of time. I initiate and implement marketing initiatives, and work closely with executives to ensure a regional growth trajectory as the region also grow year on year. Cape Town still has my heart, and I work remotely on content creation that remains relevant and fresh.

They know about communities and content. And Umuntu Media's team understood the value getting early-on consumer feedback...

I enjoyed seeing their start-up unfold!

ActivityBridge

Activitybridge has been brought to the travel and tourism market as a piece of software that makes online booking for activities easy. I assisted with consumer feedback during the important business development phase, & brought the new ActivityBridge to the (then) Twittersphere!

Southern Oil

SOILL in Swellendam is the home of many loved brands, such as Bwell Foods and Plato's Crisps. Over the past few years, I have executed a national Twitter campaign for three bespoke marketing campaigns with this great local manufacturing company.

Health products have always been close to mind in selecting brands to work with, and I enjoyed their African Gold Olive Oil campaign the most!

The Entertainer is sold across the world as one of the most popular savings and discount programmes. I joined GreaterThan PR for the South African launch and mobilised the Twitter community.

Mama Taxi

It is one of our most loved local cartoon strips, and MamaTaxi launched a mobile version. We needed to get the word out and I believe we did.... and linked up with relevant digital content in the process.  RIP Deni Brown

I have the pleasure of strategy development and implementation of promotions for the Southern Cape region from Mossel Bay to Plettenberg Bay.
