A Bit More ABOUT Me
​MISSION AND HISTORY
As @iAmnotMany, I enjoy working with a handful of clients on their marketing strategies or campaigns, mostly on referral and on request. Being based on the Southern Cape these days, I often represent reputable national brands in this part of the world during marketing campaigns or leading a regional roll-out team.
I often work closely with professional event managers or publicity teams, e.g., communication agencies, PR, marketing, advertising, radio presenters, publishers or social media professionals.
As an early-adopter of disruptive technologies, I have registered my first Twitter account in 2006 and experienced the platform's growth intimately - as social media emerged into mainstream communication in the world. When I started out, I battled to find fellow South Africans that took Twitter seriously, let alone be tweeting - to follow with @CapeTown account.
My first love is impact investment and business development - specifically in the startup IT and educational industries. I am a social innovator working across Africa, and also have an interest in sustainable real estate development, fintech, artificial intelligence and augmented reality.
I use the handle @iAmnotMany in the field of digital services, including social media management and content marketing. I find digital content an essential component of a meaningful, relevant business in this day and age.
I excel on X (previously Twitter), but also engage via Facebook & other networks to build communities. I have been told I add value to the dynamics of any team, but easily work on my own as well....
Developing strategy and implementing it on-time and on-budget is my second love after seeing marginalised communities uplifted from their dire circumstances and challenges, as impact investor.
My mission is simply to Create and Influence online Communities for Good by amplifying the voices of brands and businesses that share similar sentiments - in enterprise, education, lifestyle, and employment.
